DEPARTMENT:HUMAN RESOURCES

 

AREA OF USE:WACO PREPARED FOODS FACILITY (Waco, Texas)

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned as production demands may require.

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  1. Entry of applicant and employee information into SAP
  2. Entry of hiring employees, including promotions, transfers, demotions, and terminations
  3. Working with payroll to meet completion of employees pay (including payroll adjustments, bereavement, etc.)
  4. Filing of employee records and other information
  5. Preparation of daily and running weekly reports
  6. Updating company’s social media
  7. Entering unemployment claims
  8. Entering background checks
  9. Helping employees complete company forms
  10. Answering phones
  11. Order supplies,equipment,shirts.
  12. Other duties as assigned
  13. Customer service
  14. Assist employees with e-payroll

 

 

I-9 DUTIES:

1.Perform I-9 procedures as employees get hired.

2.Connect the Dots procedure

3.Sending out exhaustion letters

4.I-9 Audits-Making sure all documents are uploaded & closed out.

 

BENENFIT DUTIES:

  1. Assist employees with benefits questions
  2. Assist employees with Fin Fit loans
  3. Assist employees with 401K
  4. Assist employees with STD & LTD insurance
  5. Explain benefits plans to new hires.

 

FMLA/LOA DUTIES:

  1. Track & check eligibility for employees
  2. Send exhaust letters
  3. Track # of weeks used fmla/Intermittent
  4. Run fmla reports
  5. Call TM’s weekly to get updates on FMLA/LOA cases.

 

 

 

Qualifications:

  1. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  2. Entry-level; typically requires less than 6 months of related experience. 
  3. Knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred.
  4. SAP experience preferred. 
  5. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
  6. General knowledge of office equipment such as copier, fax, 10-key.
  7. Confidentiality a must.
  8. Good interpersonal relation skills.
  9. I-9 experience preferred.
  10. Fmla/Loa experience preferred.

 

 

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma/GED.
